3. Additional charges:
a) For landings or take-offs of aircraft that take place during the period from thirty (30) minutes after sunset to thirty (30) minutes before sunrise, a charge of 40% is calculated on the amount of the landing fee, as an increase of night employment.
b) For aircraft landings that take place during the months of June, July, August and September and during the period from 11.00 to 17.00 local time, a surcharge of 25% is calculated on the amount of the landing fee, as a surcharge of peak summer time employment. When a 25% summer-time peak employment surcharge and a 40% night-time surcharge are required at the same time, it is clarified that the surcharges are calculated, each separately, based on the landing fee and then added.
c) For the period from October 1st to March 31st of each year, a 50% discount on landing and take-off fees applies.
4. Stay Fees:
For aircraft whose Maximum Take-off Weight (W) exceeds 5.7 tons.
The stay fees are calculated depending on the Maximum Take-off Weight of the aircraft and the number of stay hours (T) of the aircraft at the Airport, beyond the first two (2) hours.

Charge (Euro): 0.2759 € for each hour of stay
Maximum yield weight (tonnes): 10 <W ≤ 50
Charge (Euro): W x T x 0.0275 € for each hour of stay

5. Fee for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities and Reduced Mobility (Fee for the Disabled):
0.30 euros per departing passenger from the Greek airports managed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Exceptions:
Departing passengers up to two (2) years old
-Aircraft crew members, as well as crew members boarding for service at another station to replace crews in service
-Passengers arriving at an airport due to an emergency, breakdown, bad weather, or other force majeure event, regardless of whether they leave the customs-controlled area or continue their journey by another aircraft on the same or another day
- Passengers by air, who continue their journey with the same aircraft and remain in controlled areas (direct transit).

Nea Anchialos National Airport with code VOL began its operation in 1993 and the completion of the new terminal was held in September 2010, making the airport one of the most modern regional airports in Greece that covers the needs of central Greece serving domestic/international and charter flights from/to the biggest cities in Europe. The airport is located 3 km after the exit of Almyros Interchange on Highway E75. Exploitation of Nea Anchialos National Airport belongs to the Civil Aviation Authority and its main features are presented in the Aeronautical Information Publication of Greece (AIP Greece).
The airport is connected to the city of Volos by the Magnesia Intercity Bus (www.ktelvolou.gr) Taxis are also available outside the terminal.
